Why Phosphorus?
Phosphorus is a fundamental building block of life and a critical nutrient for crop production. It underpins the productivity of soils, the resilience of farming systems, and the quality of coastal ecosystems. By focusing on phosphorus, GPI works at the crossroads of agriculture, water, climate, and development, helping countries and partners design strategies that support abundant harvests, healthier environments, and more resilient communities.
