Abdallah EL HOUARI

Phosphates Expert,Morocco

Abdallah EL HOUARI, a Senior Expert in Phosphate has been serving in various roles and capacities in this field for 40 years. In these years 10 years were dedicated to consultation and advisory role where he has led reflection, strategy and accompanying of major projects and initiatives. Abdallah has also served in high-level positions in the field of Marketing and Strategic International Collaborations and Partnerships.

In this capacity, he has had the opportunity to visit and analyze an impressive number of phosphate mines and fertilizer plants in different areas worldwide. Abdallah has been contributing to the activities of major intentional Organizations including IFA, AFA among others. His expertise extends to Research and Innovation where he has led fertilizers production and use projects and decisions.

With a significant knowledge in the field of purified Phosphoric Acid and its derivatives. Abdallah has for years served in the EMAPHOS Board of Directors and as a board member of the Prayon Management Committee.

A chemical engineer by education and training and a graduate of the Toulouse School Chemistry (France), Abdallah continues to serve the industry and the research arena through his expertise and Networks

Esin Mete

Former CEO, Toros Fertilizers, Turkey

Former CEO of Toros Agri Industries, Turkey, Esin Mete graduated from Bosphorus University as Chemical Engineer in 1973. She Joined Tekfen Group in 1973 and started as a process engineer and left the end of 2015 as the CEO of Toros Agri Company.

Esin had leading roles in both local associations and in International Fertilizer Industry Association (IFA) as President from 2013-2015. She has received ‘Service to Humanity and to Turkey’ award for her contribution in the Zinc Project for Human Health in 2008 and Decorated by the King of Morocco with ‘Officier du Wissam Alaoui’ for her contributions to Morocco in 2011.

Klaus Leisinger

President, Global Values Alliance, Germany

Dr. Klaus M. Leisinger is founder and president of the Foundation Global Values Alliance and Professor of Sociology at the University of Basel (sustainable development, corporate responsibilities, business ethics). He worked for nearly 40 years in leadings positions in a multinational pharmaceutical company, serves the United Nations as a senior advisor and the European Commission as an expert on ethical judgment.

His credo is that people of integrity – whatever their specific culture, religion, interests and value premises may be – have normatively much more in common than what separates them. He is therefore an activist for stakeholder dialogue, fairness and principled pragmatism as essential ingredients for taming wicked problems.

Mohamed AIT KADI

President of the General Council of Agricultural Development, Ministry of Agriculture, Fishery, Rural Development and Forestry, Morocco

Pr. Mohamed AIT KADI is presently President of the General Council of Agricultural Development. This Council is a high-level policy Think Tank of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Rural Development and Forestry in Morocco.

Daniel Nahon

Professor, Aix-Marseille Universite, CEREGE-OSU Pytheas, France

Daniel Bernard Nahon is a professor at the Institute of Political Studies of Aix-en-Provence, honorary professor of the Institut Universitaire de France, chair of Soil Science and scientific advisor of the Europôle de l’Arbois, and founder of CEREGE.

James Elser is Director of the Sustainable Phosphorus Alliance (SPA) at Arizona State University as well as Bierman Professor of Ecology and Director of the Flathead Lake Biological of the University of Montana.
